Although the Mobile World Congress 2015 is but a week away, LG decided to unveil four new devices last night, while everyone’s been busy with the 87th Academy Awards. The smartphones Magna, Spirit, Leon, and Joy are all mid-range devices, and will be shown at the MWC 2015.
Mid-Range Phones with Premium Features and Design
The most interesting in the bunch has to be the LG Magna – it comes with a slightly curved design, a 5” display (294ppi), a 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz quad-core processor (depending on the market), and a 2,540mAh removable battery. Other specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing one, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of built-in storage.
The LG Spirit follows closely behind the Magna, with a 4.7” display and a 2,100mAh battery, while the Leon and Joy offer 4.5” and 4.0” screens respectively, and 1,900mAh batteries. All four phones will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. You can check out the rest of their specs below:
“LG’s new mid-range collection continues our legacy of offering amazing smartphones at reasonable prices. For millions of consumers around the world, the deciding factor on which smartphone to buy isn’t how fast or how big it is but how balanced it is. With our new mid-range smartphones, more and more customers will be looking to LG for their next handsets,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
All four phones will go on sale this week in select markets. If you want to learn more about the phones, head over to this page.
