Design and Display
The One (M8) has a brushed aluminium body, similar to the casing the HTC One sports, but comes with softer edges and a slightly curved back. It measures 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm and weighs 160 g and presents an elegant smartphone, pleasant to hold. The HTC One (M8) can be purchased in three colours: Gunmetal Grey, Glacial Silver
and Amber Gold
. The M8 has a Full HD 5in display (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution), protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and differs from the previous because it has on-screen buttons, instead of the hardware keys.
Processor and Storage
On the inside is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, clocked at 2.3GHz and backed by 2GB of RAM. The handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has a Sense 6 UI, which makes multitasking easier and allows for gesture controls. technology – UltraPixel dual-cameras on its back with a 4-megapixel sensor that offers brighter colours and three times lighter photos than the HTC One. On the front is a 5-megapixel shooter ideal for taking “selfies”.
