Released in May, 2014, the HTC One Mini 2 boasts a 4.5'' display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel camera. Unlike its predecessor and their bigger brother, the One Mini 2 comes with a microSD card slot.
Alhtough it's technically the successor to the One Mini, the HTC One Mini 2 reminds us more of the HTC One M8. If you take one look at its design, you'll see what we mean. The brushed metal finish of the back of the device gives off a premium feel, and the phone fits great into the palm of your hand thanks to its curved back. Interestingly enough, the One Mini 2 is thicker than the One M8 (9.4mm) and the One Mini (9.3mm), standing at 10.6mm, but it's the same height as the original HTC One. The One Mini 2 comes with a 4.5'' Super LCD2 display, with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and a pixel resolution of ~326ppi. On the inside is a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz, and backed by 1GB of RAM. It might not sound like much, but it is a powerful device that will breeze through everyday tasks. In terms of storage, you get 16GB, which you can expand thanks to a microSD card slot (up to 128GB). The back of the phone sports a regular (not UltraPixel) 13-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, and there's a 5-megapixel front shooter ideal for selfies. This handset is powered by a non-removable 2,110 battery, and it runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with HTC's Sense UI on top. The One Mini 2 is available in gray, silver, and gold, and connectivity options include NFC, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0. Aside from the microSD card slot, the One Mini 2 offers front-facing stereo speakers, and active noise cancellation, plus a secondary microphone. Go to Top
