Apple has invited the media to an event in San Francisco where Apple’s rumoured iPhone 5 is expected to be announced. As an invitation to the press, Apple sent out an image of the number 12 when the company will hold an event on September 12th at 10:00 am local time. Apple has recently been widely reported in the media after the fights against large companies in courts, including Samsung. Criticism of the company is now growing on the internet and the question is whether the launch of the iPhone 5 will be partially overshadowed by this.
iPhone 5 should get more than a bigger screen and faster connection (which many competitors already have). People expect great things from Apple’s new launch, but will the new iPhone blow away the competition with its new features?
The new iPhone is expected to have a 4-inch display with resolution of 640 x 1136 in a 16:9 aspect ratio, 4G network speeds, a faster processor and some other structural and internal changes. The phone is also expected to be only 7.6 millimetres in profile. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that the rumours about the iPhone often proved to be unfounded, while Apple keeps all their secrets safely hidden. In conjunction with the launch of the next iPhone, the next version of iOS – iOS 6 should be released in the same event, which Apple has traditionally done at previous iPhone launches.
Apple iPhone 5 is expected on 12 September
Last year’s rumours about the new “iPhone 5” pointed to an improved smart phone, with larger screen, 4G capabilities and no home button. Instead, the company delivered the iPhone 4S, a basically updated version of the iPhone 4. The biggest change was the addition of the voice-activated Siri service.
