It is not unusual that a top design team designs iPhone accessories or mobile accessories. As far as iPod accessories are concerned, this has always been somewhat rare.
MINIMAL’s latest, Kickstarter-funded line of iPod accessories for iPod Nano make an exemption to this rule. Designed by Scott Wilson, the former creative director for Nike watches, these iPod Nano wristbands will turn your iPod Nano into a fashionable watch.
MINIMAL’s bands come in two models – The TikTok is the simpler of the two: it is basically a plastic band, albeit one with a snap-in frame that not only holds your Nano firmly in place, but allows you to easily take it out or put it back in if you need to. The LunaTik model, on the other hand, is the truly impressive model: the bezel is made from Aerospace Grade Aluminum, and features two separate pieces that lock together, along with a silicone rubber strap.
MINIMAL iPod accessories are not available yet – they will be launched on the 16th December: you will be able to buy the TikTok for $35 with a $25 pledge, and $70 for the Lunatik with a $50 pledge.
